About Me
Hi, I’m Ashley (she/her). I believe therapy can be a place for everyone.
Whether you’re feeling urgency around something specific, a desire to explore your life more deeply, or examine patterns you have noticed in your relationships – therapy can hold it all.
I offer services to adults (18+) living in Ontario, Canada, and use a relational approach. Relational therapy allows sessions to be client-led, which means we get to explore what is top of mind for you during our time together. We will look at how you learned to be in relationships as a young person, how those patterns may still be at play today, and how they’re impacting your life. While some models of therapy are manualized and directive, relational therapy allows you to be in the driver’s seat and remain the expert in your life and experience.
My approach to therapy maintains an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, compassionate, and queer/trans positive lens. I strive to build relationships with my clients that feel warm, non-judgemental, and safe enough to trust that we can traverse what you bring together.
